Separate Right to Study at VAMK for Students from Ukrainian Universities

Eligibility

Persons who have arrived in Finland due to war in Ukraine and studies at Ukrainian higher education institution have discontinued due to war in Ukraine. Studies are free of charge.

Application period

8 August – 14 August 2022 at studyinfo.fi

Admissions

The right to study is valid for 2-years. Applicants are admitted on a basis of first come, first served (see the intake at Studyinfo.fi) . Students who have completed sufficient amount of degree specific studies can later apply for right to complete a degree on the basis of their academic performance.

Studies at Open University of Applied Sciences

The Open UAS provides courses and path studies for all students. Students are selected on a first come, first served basis without further testing.

The Open UAS courses at VAMK are free of charge during period 1.6.-31.8.2022. Courses arranged in summer 2022 are conducted fully online. Please find more information on English taught summer courses through the below links:

Develop your technical skills in digital platform, 5 ECTS cr
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for Business, 3 ECTS cr
Production Management, 3 ECTS cr

Studies leading to Bachelor or Master Degree

Applying to bachelor or master degree studies takes place at Studyinfo.fi portal.

Right to complete degree can be applied for in the joint application system or through separe application directly to higher education institution.

Students who have completed suitable amount of degree specific studies at Open UAS can apply for bachelor or master degree studies though the Open UAS separate application without entrance examination or further testing.

Transfer application from a foreign institution to Vaasa University of Applied Sciences is not possible.

Tuition Fees and Scholarship Criteria
