A hidden video recorder was found in VAMK’s main buildings toilet (wc A1072) attached under a sink. The camera was found on Saturday 18.1. VAMK’s premises were checked on Saturday and again on Monday. No further recording devices were found. In order to prevent similar events VAMK’s toilets and other private facilities will be regularly checked in the future.
The matter was reported to the police on Saturday. The police is investigating the used recording device technically and tactically at the moment. Primary investigations have already revealed that the device has been used only for a short period of time.
