President´s Greeting to Graduates

Dear Graduates

You stand here today to receive a public acknowledgement for your accomplishment.
The fact that you foreign students chose to study in an unfamiliar culture - and in a country that has such a cold climate - testifies to your exceptional courage. In fact you started your international careers already when you arrived in Finland and Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu, University of Applied Sciences. On behalf of the entire staff, I thank you for the experience you were willing to share with us.

The challenges that all you graduates will face in working life are many. The increasing internationalisation as well as the complex duties and responsibilities in the field emphasise the need for continuous personal development.

As you now embark on your journey toward your next goal in life, I hope that the education provided by Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu, University of Applied Sciences, has equipped you with the necessary faculties to succeed professionally in the global environment.
