Senior Lecturer Ahti Nyman is Teacher of the Year

VAMK, University of Applied Sciences Teacher of the Year is senior lecturer Ahti Nyman. He teaches social psychology and pedagogics in the faculty of health care and social services.

Some of the reasons for voting Mr. Nyman in the teacher of the year:

“He is a sympathetic teacher who knows what he is doing. He is a credit to the profession."
“He encourages you when you have difficulties."
“Simply the best."

The purpose of choosing the teacher of the year is to motivate teachers. With this recognition VAMK brings out the importance of teaching and motivates teachers to develop themselves constantly.

Mr. Nyman was awarded a price by Student Union VAMOK´s Ari Niemi.
