VAMK hosted the international symposium on information technology

International Symposium on Ambient Intelligence and Embedded Systems took place at VAMK on September 14-16, 2017.

The goal of the symposium this year was to share knowledge and experiences in the areas of Ambient Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Internet Programming, and Information Technology.

The researchers and developers from academia and industry as well as students gathered to work in those areas of specialization. Also companies were invited to participate in the conference and the exhibition that was organized as part of the conference.

The workshop series was jointly initiated in 2002 by VAMK and Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Since then it has been organized in Vaasa, Kiel, Aveiro, Geel, Heraklion, Madeira, Chania, Espoo, Berlin, and Oostende.
