CHARLIE International Summit – 18 June 2025: a global platform for ethical AI and bias-free technology
Vaasa University of Applied Sciences is one of the partners of the Erasmus+ co-funded CHARLIE project, which will host the CHARLIE International Summit online on 18 June 2025.
The summit brings together leading experts, educators, and AI professionals from across the world to explore the ethical challenges of artificial intelligence and to support the development of inclusive, bias-free technology.
The event is free and open to anyone interested in the future of responsible AI. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss topics such as algorithmic bias, transparency, and the societal impact of AI with international speakers and practitioners.
A collaborative platform for ethical and inclusive AI
The CHARLIE International Summit provides a forum for researchers, educators, developers, and policymakers to share insights, network, and collaborate on building a more transparent and equitable digital future.
“The project allows us at VAMK to collaborate internationally on one of the most pressing topics of our time. The summit is a great opportunity to gain practical understanding of ethical AI and contribute to more responsible digital development,” says Elise Raittila Project Manager at VAMK.
Participation and registration
The event is open to all stakeholders working with or interested in artificial intelligence and digital ethics. The event will be held in English.
