Well-being, resilience and smart services driving societal renewal
Smart Society focuses on renewing well-being, resilience and service systems by combining human-centered development, digital solutions and multidisciplinary collaboration. The research area responds to societal change by strengthening preventive approaches, data-informed management and service innovation, while supporting the renewal of social, health and well-being sectors. Smart Society brings together expertise in well-being, data, digital services and collaborative models into a shared development platform, through which services and operating models are transformed towards impactful, sustainable and user-centered solutions.
The whole combines expertise in well-being, technology, data-driven management and service development into a shared development platform. This work strengthens service impact, societal resilience and the ability to respond to changing needs, while supporting the development of sustainable and smart service ecosystems at regional, national and international levels. Research and development are carried out in close cooperation with public organisations, companies and other stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on practical applicability of solutions.
