Joint Application
The Joint Application will be open from 7. - 21. January 2026. This application period covers Bachelor's degree programmes in International Business, Information Technology, and Nursing, as well as all Master’s degree programmes. The Joint Application for the Energy Technology (Bachelor of Engineering) will be open from 31 August to 10 September 2026.

Pedagogy – collaborative and intelligently supported learning
Learning takes place mainly in the workplace and is complemented by interactive lectures. At VAMK Master School, learning is not about passive information transfer but about shared insight and practicing diverse learning methods. We utilize the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and digitalization to support learning — helping students to develop their thinking and apply knowledge in practice.

The learning process consists of lectures, independent work, distance learning assignments and development projects. Each study module emphasizes interaction and teamwork — allowing you to share your expertise with fellow students. The studies are closely linked to your professional duties, enabling you to develop your own work, employer organization or project through learning assignments and the Master’s thesis development project.

What is blended learning?
In blended learning, there is some contact lectures on campus, but the emphasis of studies is on independent learning and online courses. Mandatory in-person lectures or meetings are scheduled depending on the program, typically during weekday evenings and weekends; please always check the specific dates and times on each implementation’s dedicated pages.
The emphasis in the study is on interaction and teamwork: during your studies, you can share your expertise with other students. The studies are linked closely to your own work tasks, so with the learning tasks and the thesis development project you have the opportunity to develop your own employer organisation or project.
