Degree students: Enrollment for the Academic Year 2026-2027
Enrollment for attendance for continuing students in the academic year 2026-2027 must be made on student’s desktop (PAKKI) during period 1.4.-6.9.2026. From the desktop’s navigation bar: studies -> enrollments.
Students liable to pay tuition fees cannot register themselves in Pakki. Once the payment is received, Student Services will manually enroll student in the autumn semester 2026. This cannot be done by student him/herself on Student Desktop.
Enrollment is mandatory and must be made for the whole academic year in accordance with degree regulation and Polytechnics Act (932/2014) . Study right is determined by the scope of the degree, in addition to which one extra year is given without separate application. The non-attendance in this case is not included in the targeted duration of studies. Neglect of enrollment leads to termination of study right. Please notice that enrollment (in courses) does not replace the obligation to enroll in the academic year!
The non-EU/EEA students liable to pay tuition fees, are also required to make the payment for the semester in order to keep study right active.
Students who have exceeded their study time must apply for discretionary extension of study time at vamk.fi/en/opiskelijoille/opinto-opas/opiskeluvamkissa/lomakkeet/ . Please notice that during the summer time application for extension are not processed. The submitted applications will be processed starting from mid-August.
