Graduation Ceremony June 5, 2026

In addition to those graduating in May, all graduates from January to April have been invited to the Spring 2026 graduation ceremony. Those graduating in May can register for the ceremony in Valo when submitting their degree application. Graduates from January to Aprilr will receive an invitation via email with a registration form.

Graduating students who are unable to attend the event in person will receive a Zoom link via email for remote participation.

Important Information for Guests

Dress Code

The event is formal, so we kindly ask guests to dress in festive attire. For example, a dark suit or other elegant outfit is appropriate.

Arrival and Parking

• Arrival Instructions: The graduation ceremony will take place at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences main building, address: Wolffintie 30, 65200 Vaasa. The campus is within walking distance from Vaasa city center. The nearest bus stops are located along Wolffintie.
• Parking: There are no dedicated guest parking spaces at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences. Parking is available on street-side spaces in the Palosaari area, where parking may be free or paid depending on the zone. Parking enforcement is managed by the City of Vaasa, and incorrect parking may result in a fine.
  • Please pay attention to traffic signs and possible time limits.
  • Emergency access routes must remain clear – parking there is strictly prohibited.
  • Accessible parking spaces are available on campus and may only be used with a valid disability permit.

• The ceremony starts at 13:00
• The event lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
• Coffee will be served at Restaurant Serveri

Photography

Photos will be taken during the event and may be used in the university’s communications. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance.
