Research-based solutions to current challenges in the energy sector
The joint project of Novia and VAMK, FESIO aims to support the transformation of the energy sector by addressing the challenges of renewable, weather-dependent production with energy storage and demand response solutions. The final seminar of the project on 15.5.2025 will present practical examples of how current challenges in the energy sector are being solved through research and development – in areas such as electricity storage, hydrogen technology, and offshore wind power.
The event’s presentations offer insights into both technical solutions and business models, and feature experts from both Novia and VAMK.
The seminar is a great opportunity to learn about electricity markets and technologies, energy storage, and smart grid control – but also to network with industry professionals over a relaxed coffee break and a guided tour of Technobothnia research and teaching laboratory.
