Vaasa Science Carnival is a multilingual event for everyone interested in science and research.

The event offers discussions, interviews and lectures from November 7th to November 8th, 2025 in three locations in Vaasa.

Did you know that fascinating research is being conducted in Vaasa? Now you have the chance to hear researchers from universities and colleges in Vaasa talk about recent scientific findings and show how they work locally to solve global problems. You can also take the opportunity to hear about what researchers elsewhere in Finland are investigating.

Vaasa Science Carnival is organised in collaboration with Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, The Society of Swedish Literature in Finland (SLS), Hanken School of Economics, Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki, University of Vaasa, Novia University of Applied Sciences and Åbo Akademi University.
