We are looking for an RDI intern at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, especially for RDI communication tasks

Do you have a passion for research, development and innovation, are you good at communication and do you like networking?

We offer VAMK students a 3-month paid internship as part of VAMK’s RDI services. During the training period, you will get a comprehensive introduction to RDI activities and participate in the development of RDI activities. Your duties include assistant-level tasks, especially related to RDI communication, updating our websites as well as creating our digital project websites.

Your duties also include various reports and surveys, archiving and tasks related to information acquisition. You participate in various events and do related preparatory work. We also hope you have the courage to come up with ideas and present new, fresh perspectives for the development of our R&D activities, for example in relation to the participation of students. Tasks are adjusted according to your skills and development in the task.

As an intern, you get responsibility, learn to understand broader social phenomena, learn a lot about project activities and get to know the area and its strengths. You can also join many networks.

We hope that you are a final stage student with strong communication skills and enthusiasm to learn more about research and development activities. We require self-initiative, good interaction skills, versatile digital skills (you have an excellent command of Office), and creativity in communication.

You have excellent oral and written Finnish and English skills. You use both of these in your work, knowledge of Swedish and other languages ​​is always an advantage. The training period runs from 19 September to 19 December 2022.

You are employed full-time at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences during the internship period. Your working time is 36h 25 min. per week. Your internship supervisor is Marja-Riitta Vest, VAMK’s RDI manager, and each is an expert in RDI services in different positions.
