Project Description

The project implements three company pilots with industrial micro and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), where learning paths, produced materials, and methods are tested.

The React2Market project is carried out by the Design Centre MUOVA at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences. The project started on 1 October 2021 and runs until 31 August 2023. It is funded by the European Union ESF – European Social Fund and Vaasa University of Applied Sciences.

The project is financed through the REACT-EU instrument as part of the European Union’s measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Project Objective

The aim of the React2Market project is to strengthen the ability of employees in industrial micro and SMEs in the Ostrobothnia region to respond to rapid changes in their operating environment through agile and market-driven practices.

The concrete goal of the project is to develop a learning path tool to support agile and market-driven development in companies’ everyday operations. The learning path describes short learning sprints in different phases of innovation activities – quick actions that a company can implement as part of its regular activities. The learning path covers the key phases of innovation activities: recognizing changes in the operating environment, creating market understanding, applying knowledge in innovation activities, testing solutions, and communicating in the market.
