Enrollment in cross-institutional studies and VAMK free-choice studies

If you want to include studies from another higher education institution in your degree, enrol for them primarily through the cross-institutional study service. Cross-institutional studies are always free of charge for degree students.

Registration for cross-institutional studies is done on the student’s desktop. When you enrol in the cross-institutional study service, the studies you have completed at the other higher education institution will also be automatically transferred to your home university (VAMK).

Please note that you can only see the cross-institutional study networks on the student’s desktop that have been allocated to your own study right.  The most common networks that are visible to everyone are Campusonline UAS & Master’s Degrees, depending on the type of study right. Correspondingly, VAMK’s own elective offering is enrolled through the student’s desktop.  Please do not enrol for VAMK’s own offering through the online store!

If you cannot find a suitable offering from cross-institutional study networks or VAMK, you can also search for offerings in the national Opin.fi service. These studies can be transferred to a degree through the eRPL service, if they fit your curriculum in terms of content.  Please note that when enrolling through the Opin.fi service, the offering may also be subject to a fee, depending on the higher education institution organising the studies.
