Sauna as a Bridge Between Cultures – Cultural Wellbeing at the Pingviinit Sauna!
“Room for Cultures” is a three-year ESR+ funded project by SeAMK and VAMK (running until July 2028), aiming to strengthen inclusion, participation, wellbeing, and intercultural dialogue in both regions.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Room for Cultures together with Vaasan talviuimarit Pingviinit will host a cultural wellbeing event, where local residents are invited to enjoy not only the refreshing and relaxing effects of the sauna and cold swimming, but also live music, sauna traditions, engaging interaction, and light snacks.
The event offers a unique opportunity to:
- meet local people in a natural setting and share cultural experiences
- get to know Finnish sauna culture and traditions
- enjoy live music & new experiences
