Board of Directors

According to the Universities of Applied Sciences Act (in Finnish), the Board of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences may consist of up to 9 members who represent a diverse range of expertise related to societal life and the tasks of the university of applied sciences. The board must also include members with practical experience and knowledge of working life and business. The board includes two members from the university community, one representing the staff and the other representing the students.
The Board of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences is composed of representatives from the University of Vaasa, the City of Vaasa, the Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce, the staff, and the students.
Board members are elected annually at the general meeting of the limited company.
