Applications Open for English-Taught Degree Programmes Starting in Autumn 2027
The application period for Vaasa University of Applied Sciences’ English-taught degree programmes starting in autumn 2027 is open from 1 October 2026 to 30 April 2027. To secure an interview opportunity, applicants are advised to apply early, as student selections are carried out from the beginning of the application period.
The applications are now open for Vaasa University of Applied Sciences’ degree programmes in English starting in autumn 2027. Bachelor’s degree programmes are available in the fields of Business, Engineering, and Health Care and Social Services. Master’s degree programmes are offered in the fields of Business and Engineering.
A total of 300 study places are available across eight degree programmes. Applications are accepted from 1 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, with student selections conducted on a rolling basis throughout the application period. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply early to increase their chances of securing an interview invitation. The application period may close before the announced deadline if all study places are filled.

In the field of Business at Bachelor’s level, VAMK offers International Business degree programme. This 3.5-year programme provides a strong foundation in international business and valuable practical experience through company collaboration projects.
In addition to the student exchange and practical training abroad, to study a Double Degree in one of VAMK’s partner universities in Germany or Poland.
The students in the Double Degree programme study in two universities and graduate from both.
In the field of business, two Master’s-level programmes are also available: International Business Management and Project Management.
The International Business Management programme provides students with both research-based and practical knowledge and skills in management. In the field of Technology, applicants can apply for the Bachelor’s degree programme in Information Technology, a four-year programme that covers topics such as software engineering and embedded systems. The field of Technology also offers three one-year Master’s degree programmes: Project Management, Cloud-Based Software Engineering, and Energy Storage Systems.
