The police invites students to participate in a crowd control exercise on April 25, 2024.

The Police of Ostrobothnia is organizing a nationwide crowd control exercise in Vaasa from April 23 to April 25, 2024.

The main exercise will take place in the city center of Vaasa on April 25. According to the preliminary plan, the exercise will last the entire day, and the schedule will be specified closer to the date.

The Police of Ostrobothnia has invited students from Vaasa University of Applied Sciences to join the exercise. A significant number of assistants are needed for the exercise, and their task is to participate in a simulated ‘demonstration.’ Participation in this massive police exercise is a unique and undoubtedly memorable experience for participants! No specific expertise is required for those participating in the exercise.

You can express your preliminary interest in volunteering for the exercise in February. Registering at this stage does not commit you to anything, and those who express interest will be contacted later and asked for an official, binding registration. At this stage, the police want to assess potential participants.
