Juho Heiska is an expert in battery technology

Juho works at VAMK as senior lecturer in energy technology. He came to VAMK after having completed his dissertation at Aalto University in the field of chemistry related to battery technology. In the RDI field, he works, among other things, as the coordinator of the Nordic Battery EDU belt network. The purpose of the network is to promote Nordic battery education cooperation. In his opinion Smart City  finds intelligent solutions that are easy to use but also transparently sustainable.

“In an ideal situation, when a person lives in a smart city he doesn’t even know it himself, but choosing the most sustainable option has been made the normal and easiest choice. Technological solutions are already available for many things, and all you need is the willpower and the ability to put them into practice.”
