Project description

The project is about the birth and development process of a start-up in practice with innovation processes. A summary survey has shown that young, potential entrepreneurs are not enthusiastic about starting a business due to, among other things, the jungle of regulations and bureaucratic processes associated with it. Concrete issues encountered in practice, such as mandatory legislation, taxation, customer acquisition, product development, marketing, and sales, as well as pricing, invoicing, combining entrepreneurship and family life, and personal coping are often perceived as obstacles and challenges to entrepreneurship. Among other things, according to Akava, entrepreneurship is a prerequisite for maintaining the welfare state, and because of this, new tools for teaching entrepreneurship are needed. The start-up and innovation project offers a solution to this need. A successful start-up requires a clear vision, the right timing, building the right team and leading it, a working business idea, financing, and marketing. The management of innovation processes is one key tool in this whole.

Goals

The start-up process with innovations is implemented on a hands-on basis. The goal is for the learner to be able to teach his students using the methods he has learned. In the project, practical tools and their use are taught with the intention that internalized processes are trained mainly through doing, enriched with the necessary theoretical framework.

Results

The implementation method is designed in such a way that it can be done remotely, face-to-face or as a hybrid. The result is the learner’s new competence, which inspires the learner’s own students, and with it, big and small business success stories that build society and provide employment.
