Do you want to develop your presentation skills, learn how to create social media content, and network with people and students from different fields? Join VAMK’s Student Ambassador team and share your own study journey with others!
Our goal is to highlight authentic student life within our University of Applied Sciences community and to amplify students’ own voices through their experiences.
As a student ambassador, your tasks may include:
- Participating in international webinars
- Attending educational fairs and events
- Creating content for VAMK’s social media channels (e.g., Instagram)
- Taking part in student photo and video shoots
Applying to Become a VAMK Student Ambassador
We are now opening the application period for new Student Ambassadors from the Energy Technology and Information Technology degree programmes. If you are enthusiastic about sharing your study experiences and representing VAMK in various events and activities, we warmly encourage you to apply.
- Application Period: The application is now open and will remain open until 1 March 2026.
- Interviews: Interviews will be conducted on 4th and 6th March 2026, between 13:00 and 15:00.
Applicants will be contacted with more information after the application period ends.

Why should I become a student ambassador?
As a student ambassador, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with potential future students and share your own study journey at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences. At the same time, you will gain valuable presentation experience, develop your working‑life skills, and meet new people. Student ambassadors are also compensated for their work, as each task includes study credits (27h / 1 ECTS).
You don’t need to be a “super performer” to become a student ambassador. What matters most is an open mind, a positive attitude, and the enthusiasm to share the best parts of your study field with others!
